One 9th is a play written by Spirit Tricky about her mother life as a young 15 year old girl about to make history. Spirit’s Mother in Minnie Jean Brown-Tricky one of nine students who embarked on a journey to be the first black students to attend Little Rock Central High in 1957. Although I have met Minnie Jean several times this play helped me better understand what she when though at such a young age. This is a play I would recommend for all age it was funny (how only young ladies can be) it was educational and emotional. A must see.
